about
Edi earned her masters in occupational therapy at Boston University and completed professional internships in 2001. Her first job in pediatrics was in Rosemary White’s practice in Seattle, Washington. From day one Edi learned to use Sensory Integration in conjunction with the DIR®/Floortime™ model. This unique introduction to pediatrics significantly influences how Edi approaches her work with children and families. This model continues to inform and enrich her area of interest, which is children with disorders of relating and communicating. This includes but is not limited to children with autism spectrum disorder, regulatory and sensory processing difficulties, dyspraxia, ADD, ADHD, selective mutism, and learning challenges.

Edi is DIR®/Floortime™ certified and is a Profectum™ fellow. Professional growth has and continues to play an important role in Edi’s career. She has sought multi-disciplinary supervision with occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, mental health professionals as well as educators.

Edi has had a private practice in New York City and is now in La Jolla, California. She is currently accepting new clients for home or community visits.
